Yes, WonderSpot is completely free to download and use. We do not charge any fees for accessing the app or its features. Additionally, we do not offer any paid services, subscriptions, or premium features within WonderSpot. Our goal is to provide a free and accessible platform for users to explore and share interesting places without any financial barriers.

WonderSpot is designed to be a versatile platform where users can share a wide variety of spots that capture their interest. Whether it's a quaint café tucked away in a neighborhood, a scenic hiking trail in the mountains, a vibrant street art mural in the city, or a hidden gem of historical significance. Our app is not limited to any specific category or group of places. Feel free to share spots that resonate with you, inspire you, or that you think others would enjoy discovering. The diversity of spots shared on WonderSpot contributes to creating a vibrant and eclectic community for exploration and discovery.

Currently, WonderSpot is available in English. However, we are constantly working to expand our language support to cater to a broader audience.

For now, WonderSpot does not feature an in-app reporting system. However, as we continue to develop the platform further, our priority will be to create an easy-to-use reporting system to enhance the safety of our community. We consistently monitor our app to ensure that users do not publish any offensive spots or reviews. If you encounter such content, please report it by sending an email to [email protected].

Our app gathers specific data essential for its proper functioning. When creating an account, we collect email addresses, usernames, and passwords, all of which are necessary for account creation and subsequently stored in our database to facilitate user sign-ins. Additionally, we retain profile pictures; however, it's important to note that providing a profile picture is optional. In instances where a user opts not to provide their own picture, we will supply a default one.

Data such as profile pictures and spot images are stored in the cloud service known as "Oracle Cloud." Whereas email addresses, usernames, and passwords are stored in a cloud-based database called "MongoDB”.

We do not offer a guest feature or support sign-ins via Google or Facebook. To utilize WonderSpot, users must create an in-app account. Currently, we have no plans to implement guest features or integrate Google and Facebook account sign-ins.

Our app currently does not utilize users' locations. However, we are planning to implement a user location support feature to assist in finding nearby spots.
